The beginning reminded me of TZ's "Stopover In a Quiet Town." Also a bit of
the original Saw. I didn't care for the release of information that they were being
paid and they had to survive a week. The story's tone then got playful and lost its
edge. I would have preferred that Man and Woman had to work to figure the mystery.
They should also be out of bread and water. Raise the stakes.
Still, there was enough intrigue that kept it fun. The ending was pure TZ.
That's not a bad thing.

OK, this contains perhaps the weakest links to the Halloween theme -- kind of shoehorned into a script -- or at least into a pre-existing idea -- that feels repurposed.

It is well written.  I like the concept.  I like the twist.

But this one is just not in the proper spirit of things.
