Funny! Sorry, but I watched (and listened) to those 2 youtube "performances", and had to shut them down long before they were done. I just can't stand that type of music...it's so weak, lame, and cheesy.
I've tried repeatedly. Sent 2 PM's with apologies to Giles, but he won't respond.
You are right, You did send me a PM to apologise, then two days later you go and write two shitty posts on here that just seem to be attempts at pissing me off. Apologies mean nothing if you don't actually mean it.
Look, just chill out and there is no need to apologise. Arguments are one thing, hell I have had my share of disagreement with people, whether it is about writing, or script club. But one thing that I find unacceptable is making it personal, attacking somebody else or being rude to someone else is just not on. You can argue with someone and still show respect for them, you may not agree with their ideas but that does not mean that you can attack the person.
There is nobody who appears regularly on this site who i would consider to be anything but a good, decent person. You may not like what they wrote and are perfectly entitled to give them hell for it but show some respect. That is all. No need to apologise, I have thick skin and am perfectly capable of giving it back when fully wound up.
Now, see -- I considered deleting this when I saw it. I just knew nothing good would come of it. I mean, how would you expect him to respond, Dreamscale?
People gripe if we delete, and sometimes stuff happens when we don't.
I considered deleting your response, too, Giles. But at least it was a song. And, frankly, kind of funny. But still out of line. (stern look)
Now it is time for you two otherwise intellegent and sometimes eloquent contributors to our little corner of the internet to put this one to rest. Either make up -- or avoid each other -- but more posts regarding this little disagreement will go.
Giles gets the last word because you started it, Dreamscale.
Wow, 'For No One' is your fave song, Michel? Awesome! Naturally I like all the Beatles stuff. This is great too. And it was just an album song, not a single or anything!Actually, 'Revolver' is my fave album of all time and I feel it's the best ever made.

This song, IMO, is the most touching one than Macca ever wrote (and God knows I know by heart everyone of his songs). The first time I heard, too many years ago , it got me some deep inside and I never forget it. Even his own cover in "Give My Regards To Broad Street " (I won't comment on that shi**y film) is awesome.
