Besides being much fun to do and a series I've wanted to produce for many years, AVGS gives me the opportunity to try out different technologies that I wouldn't otherwise get a chance to experiment with.
I know it's not going to be for everyone but I like it and I hope you enjoy it too.
Thanks Sandra, glad that you enjoyed it and that it made you like "far out". It was supposed to so I guess it succeeded. And I'm sure a sphere will be around somewhere in the future of the series.
Entered this in the Queensland Poetry Contest and while it didn't take first prize it was selected for screening at The Wrong End of the Kaleidoscope session this Sunday. For more info...

At least you're getting your art out there to be seen. That's a whole lot more than some of us can say. Hopefully no one throws rottren tomatoes at the screen.
EDIT: How many hours did it take to produce this thing?
More news about this. It's going to be screened as part of the Overland Poetry festival the session called (Poetronica) in Melbourne on Saturday Sept 11th. I have no idea about the awards yet or what's selected. I don't even think they know yet. I only found out about the screening because I was inquiring why I hadn't gotten confirmation that my entry was received. So, they seem a bit disorganised.
Apologies for the late notice. Your Poetronica entry is in the top shortlist for the Poetronica Award which will be announced tonight (Sunday) at the Grace Darling Hotel, Smith St Collingwood. Check: http://www.overloadpoetry.org for details. We would really appreciate it if you could make it. Surprise Showcase starts at 7.30pm, followed by awards presentation.
Ok. My nerves are definitely shot now. For a while (a few hours) I was quite satisfied with being short-listed and thought there was no chance in hell I would win. But now the festival organisers just called to make sure I would attend the awards. Arrgh!
Now, #1 I have to go to the awards. And #2 I have to sit around all day wondering if I'm going to win or not. Arrgh!
