James, another one-pager.
Whew! Ann and Jim have a very dark sense of humour and morality.
Still could do with a bit more back story imho, and I wonder if you're writing these as an exercise in one-pagers - they are not easy to pull off.

I'd hate to think this is based on fact.

Quoted from LC

I'd hate to think this is based on fact.

Back in the 1970s - that's how old I am - I worked in Putney, west London. I presume, due to security at far-flung airports being a lot less stringent back then, stowaways falling from the undercarriage of aircraft on final approach to Heathrow was pretty common. Often they travelled with all their worldly possessions - not all of it legal.

Times change. About four years ago a guy fell from an aircraft on finals and landed in a west London street, and it made the national news.

As soon as I wrote the bit about 'fact' I had a feeling I'd read something about this. It's really awful to think how desperate you'd have to be to get to that point.

And it makes it all the more macabre that your other characters had the reaction they did. Credible though, sadly.
Well done. I hope to read more of yours.
