And well done Gary, you always seem to be lingering at or near the top.

Didn't get a chance to read any entries but nice to see such a great turnout

Well done all who entered.

Nice work, Libby! Loved it. I'm very disappointed that I didn't participate in this OWC (excellent parameters, Zack) but, just as well, the short I had in mind wouldn't have been much competition.

This could be easily filmed on the cheap since hoarder houses are a dime a dozen these days.

Wow, this was so nice to wake up to, I honestly did not expect it. Thanks, guys and gals!

Congrats to Abe and Chris, terrific entries!
Shout out too to Steve Sallee for 666 - loved the Devil finding his happy place.

P.S. Was watching Hoarders the night before the deadline - an episode where sisters were horrified to discover their brother's cross-dressing outfits and x-rated porn collection in the attic. They were outraged.

Was that the episode that featured Zack?

Haha. I was just amazed that they weren't mortified about the literal rats and filth in the kitchen, but were instead crying hysterically about the discovery of his 'personal interests'.

Loved all the entires - I did read all of them but work interference kept me from commenting on all. Another great OWC and another great learning exercise. Thx for the fun!

I think it's awesome that a group of people dedicate their free time towards giving others constructive critcism for free. Big thank you to everyone for taking the time to read my pile of doodoo.

I'm a busy person but I'm trying to write more so I take these as personal challenges to motivate me. I'm going to work on second draft right now!

Congrats to L. Chambers for the win!

Congrats to Libby. Hoarder was my top pick, followed by Daughter.
I figured Libby and Chris wrote those scripts, but wasn't sure
of the order. Both scripts are sensational horror stories!
A big shout out to Kathy and her entry, which by the
way was my #3 choice. I loved the story telling aspect in You
Don't Know Jack. Great turn out overall and thank you Don and Zack.

Good stuff all around.  Not a single one in this batch I would call "bad" which is kind of rare.

I agree with the top spots, and enjoyed those quite a bit.  Props to those authors.

Underrated here IMO is Netflix and Chill.  Not sure everyone got what the author was going for in that blink-and-you'll-miss-it script.  Rework that one with a bit of clarity and a big screen television on the wall -- you'd have a very appealing script that's fairly easy to shoot.

'Twas away from my PC for a few days, but I caught the results through my phone; as suspected the best scripts garnered the top choices, especially ‘Hoarder’, which was a nice creepy ride that fit like a glove for this Halloween’s OWC. Awesome job Libby!

And of course, thanks Zack and Don for another cool challenge that keeps us writing. Till next time…

100%. This is one of the most produceable of the lot, with a good premise to match, and it stuck in my mind for those reasons. Someone should make this.
