Hundred Midnight's is more like something Dena would write.
Still, I'm probably wrong...
When do you all out yourselves?
Dan, if you're reading this: good job. I read that one just now. Pretty inventive and funny.
Thanks Libby. You're one of the many that helped me get better. You're an exceptional writer and even a better friend and human being. As I said earlier, I really was out of my comfort zone with this one. I went for a cartoon of the 60s feel and achieved that.
Dan
I still can't believe that I won a round with comedy against John!!
I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good. I enjoy writing the same. Looking to team with anyone!
I felt that I hit the challenge with a short story, not too much backstory and a decent ending. Thanks to those that voted for me.
I thought it was pretty good and I voted for it because I felt for the kids.
For those of us moving on, good luck to all. Ajr, what did you write? I wrote exit 5 stages left. Perhaps all those moving on should list what they wrote.
And please don't give me Nuclear Holocaust, comedy, magical flying sword monsters,
Or love story, no dialog, no people
Or Trump, love story, Elsa. Wait, that last one isn't too hard.

Okay, since the field clears up, and Stevie gave me a go… we had the jet one.
The topic set a lot of pressure on me, I think on him too, so there was more of an act now or die without anything vibe for me.
I know nothing about fighter jets and needed to research a lot, what rank a pilot has, which type of plane flies in the region I set it into and so on… still not sure if it was all accurate but I invested there. Whatever, I'm happy I somehow could still act in a way that I can identify with storywise… the stuff I want to write.
Possibly, giving some replies on my thread later – I had the Breakfast one.
Getting Stevie was a very hard draw regarding the genre and topic. He knows his stuff and is especially well with dialogue which helps in that confined place.
I don't do zombies... perhaps that one was Zombie_Sean?
I kind of wish because I liked that script better than I liked my own, which was Light.
The comments started off great, and then ended with a bunch of people who didn't like mine as much as my competitor's. Oh well, it was still fun to write. Too bad I didn't make it to the next round but ajr deserved to move forward!
Darn, I missed out on all the debating. I wrote Fleshy Things. I still don't know how to write shorts and I better figure it out fast cuz I'm going against Steven Clark.
Do we know yet who wrote A Hundred Midnights? That was my favorite.
Since I'm new around here... and nobody would even know enough to guess... I wrote Vomit Draft.
Thanks to all the comments and feedback. All were helpful.
(BTW, this things a BLAST! Can't believe how invested I got over the week.)
